
The very first Case shot for Forza 4 has been revealed by Turn 10 studio, at first look its appear blank but carries a games logo as well as Top Gear logo.
Microsoft subsidiary studio Turn 10 is working on a forth instalment in the acclaimed Forza franchise, and the group has been tasked with applying motion control to the title.
Yet Microsoft’s popular controllerless device, Kinect, may not be a central component of the game’s racing elements.
A Microsoft spokesperson said Turn 10 had already been using Kinect technology to “let players explore and experience their dream cars like never before”.
So, this confirms that Forza 4 (when it arrives in the fall of 2011) will be a hybrid title that offers optional Kinect support. It is expected that the title will be offered in both a standard and Limited Edition just as Forza 3 was.
343 Industries was formed to replace Halo creators Bungie, who have now moved on to work on a new multiformat game with Activision. According to ‘industry chatter’ reported by Games Master magazine 343′s first project is a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, running on the Halo: Reach graphics engine.
