Midnight Club new producer and director available!

Midnight Club canceled at beleaguered Rockstar San Diego?

Source: A blog posted to game-industry news site Gamasutra.

BitterPartyOfMany also claims that Rockstar dismantled the San Diego studio’s Midnight Club team. “Please, someone explain why the profitable and very functional Midnight Club team was ripped apart, their technology thrown away (after Midnight Club Los Angeles), and everyone who wasn’t fired or quit was shoved onto a project that has been struggling for well over 4 years?” the posting states.

To the owners of Rockstar, as an avid Midnight Club gamer, if you can’t get your shit together and produce and direct another successful Midnight Club turn the project over to my team and we will split the profits.

My Three words that I use as guidance for how I should conduct my efforts in the year to come.

My Three words that I use as guidance for how I should conduct my efforts in the year to come.

Self-awareness is literally the awareness of the self as separate from the thoughts that are occurring at any point in time. Without self awareness the self perceives and believes the thoughts that are occurring is who the self is. Self awareness gives one the option or choice to choose thoughts being thought rather than simply thinking the thoughts that are stimulated from the accumulative events leading up to the circumstances of the moment. Self awareness results in silent moments of epiphany, as the self realizes and is aware of being the thinker of the thoughts rather than the thoughts that are occupying the conscious moment.

Self-knowledge is a prerequisite of self-consciousness (not to be confused with consciousness as a raw subject) alongside self-awareness. However, self-awareness may in itself be a necessary condition for self-knowledge to be sought after and developed in the first place. Self-awareness alone is not enough for a being to be considered self-conscious; young infants and even animals display elements of simple self-awareness[1] and agency/contingency[2]. However it requires a greater level of cognition for a creature to become truly self-conscious. It is the knowledge of one’s self and one’s properties and the desire to seek such knowledge that guide the development of the self concept. Self-knowledge informs us of our mental representations of ourselves, which contain attributes that we uniquely pair with ourselves, and theories on whether these attributes are stable, or dynamic.

Self control is the ability to control one’s emotions and desires, is the capacity of efficient management to the future. In psychology it is sometimes called self-regulation, and exerting self-control through the executive functions in decision making is thought to deplete a resource in the ego.[1]

Evolution needs an unhealthy stressful lifestyle

A couple of days ago I read Leo’s post:

How to Give Yourself to Whatever the Moment Brings, and Forget Stress

from Zen Habits by Leo

“The prevailing way of living in our Western societies is to plan out our lives, both for the long term and on a day-to-day basis.”

Am I missing something here?  Eastern societies don’t plan their lives either for the long term or day to day?  Leo what eastern societies are you talking about?  Most “eastern societies” have a strong following in the martial arts, do you mean that just because they are taught from a very young age to practice their own societies version of their martial arts everyday so that they will gain benefits over the long term of their lives they are not planning?  These societies for thousands of years have follow the yearly cycles of planting, nurturing, and harvesting crops, and you say this is without planning?

An illusion exploit’s the audience’s assumptions.  “Exploiting your audience” which in this person opinion is exactly what you are doing.

I am not saying we can control life itself, one must not mess with Mother Nature.  Living a life without a plan is intellectual de-evolution.

I would:

  1. Plan.  Resistance is not futile! Be ready to adapt to change it will occur.
  2. Worry. A moderate amount of worrying will have positive effects, when it prompts you to take precautions.
  3. Expect. Look forward to what is about to come into your life.
  4. Respect. Respect who you are and who others are.
  5. Respond. Be responsible for yourself and your actions.
  6. Learn. Accept change and learn from the things that you did not anticipate.
  7. Seek opportunities. Look for ways you could improve and do better.

Do you want to be like a tree growing and adapting to its environment or a piece of dead rotting driftwood at the mercy everything that it comes in contact with?

The secret to long healthy life: (no stress, good food, and exercise) = intellectual de-evolution.

Evolution needs an unhealthy stressful lifestyle.

Volunteering for Adventure

Chris wrote in his post:

Philanthropy for the Adventurer: Making a Difference in Unusual Ways

from The Art of Manliness by Chris

Adventure philanthropy opportunities are essentially volunteer projects or events which provide support either to a charitable organization or directly to a targeted cause while providing a memorable adventure or challenge for the volunteers themselves.”

Those of you who know me personally are aware I spend at least four weeks of my vacation time volunteering.  I will always cherish the memories of those who I have shared these adventures with.

Please consider giving the most important thing you have, you!
